Crafted from discarded PE water pipe scraps – materials traditionally incinerated due to their complex composition which prevents them from being reused – the Act Lamp embodies a commitment to circular design and resourceful innovation.

Driven by a continuous exploration of resourceful production methods, designer Simon Legald saw potential in these overlooked pipes. By diagonally slicing the pipes into oval rings and meticulously fusing them into translucent lampshades, the design minimizes energy use while preserving the material’s integrity.
